Grip and control

In terms of grip, Comp boots are designed using PosiTac™ on the outsole. Created to last, this durable rubber compound is exclusive to Fox and offers maximum boot durability, exactly what you need as you gain riding experience. The thin, flat medial design (the inner side) of each boot increases surface area to keep you in close contact with the ride and further enhance your connection.

With half sizes now available in the most common size ranges (9.5, 10.5 and 11.5), Comp boots offer improved comfort and a more precise fit. With emphasis on the new and improved last, the foot-shaped mold that determines how a boot fits your foot, comfort is assured right out of the box. This same last is used on all boots in our line, creating unified sizes and a consistent fit. If you wear a size 9 Comp, that will be your size across the ""reboot"" line: Instinct, Motion and Comp. Riders can now enjoy a standard fit and matching size-just order your regular shoe size and you're all set.

Comp Boots offers ankle and leg coverage with TPU plating on shin, toe, heel and calf protection, giving you protection from both the ground and the bike.

Also updated for the new Comp Boots are the buckle and closure system. This patented 4-buckle system provides a durable and secure closure to ensure a perfect fit and comes with extended length levers for easy opening and closing. The new ball-and-socket mechanism ensures that your mobility is never compromised with this system, providing "flotation" as the boots flex and contract while riding. This buckle and closure system is the same on all Fox boots, but Comp boots are designed using strong and durable plastic buckles.
