After the success of the previous Drift Evo model in production until 2023, Caberg has designed and produced a completely new helmet with a fibreglass shell but also with a Carbon shell to further reduce weight.
The shell is produced in two sizes, small shell for sizes XS to M and large shell for sizes L to XXL, to offer a good balance between comfort and helmet volume. The rear spoiler provides a sporty design, improving the helmet's aerodynamics and keeping it stable even at high speeds.
DRIFT EVO II is equipped with a scratch-resistant outer visor and all versions come with the Pinlock Max Vision 70 anti-fog lens.
The newly developed visor mechanism is simple and intuitive to use for visor replacement/cleaning, and thanks to the tilting operation of the visor mechanism, visor adhesion to the shell edges is guaranteed.
To prevent accidental opening of the visor at medium/high speeds, the DRIFT EVO Il is equipped with a central visor lock with visor-opening button.
This solution also makes it possible at low speeds not to block the visor completely, leaving a small air passage. The DRIFT EVO II is equipped with an integrated DVT (Double Visor Tech) sun visor that can be easily operated even with gloves on through the lever located on the left side of the helmet. Ventilation of the DRIFT EVO Il is provided by two air intakes located on the chin, two air intakes located at the front of the shell and four air extractors at the top and rear, as well as a ducting system in the inner shell that ensures an important intake of fresh air but also the extraction of warm, stale air.
The interiors are made of breathable and hypoallergenic fabrics that are completely removable and washable, the cheek pads are equipped with a quick release even when the helmet is worn through the red tape placed on the cheek pads themselves for safe and quick removal without compromising the rider's condition, they are also shaped at the top to facilitate the entry of eyeglasses or sunglasses. The buckle closing the strap is double ring.
Caberg for the new ECE 22.06 homologated DRIFT EVO II has developed an electronic device inside the helmet, CABERG SOS MEDICAL ID, which allows the helmet owner to enter his or her personal and medical data and emergency contacts through the mobile phone and the NFC technology that all phones are equipped with. In the event of an accident or illness, another person or a rescuer will be able to help the motorcyclist in distress simply by bringing their phone close to the CABERG SOS MEDICAL ID logo on the helmet, see the medical information and send an SMS to the emergency contacts with the position of the motorcyclist in distress.
DRIFT EVO The is prepared to accommodate the communicator Caberg Pro Speak Evo that allows you to communicate with your mobile phone, with the passenger and offers the solution bike to bike up to 200mt., you can also connect it to a GPS and listen to music through your phone or an Mp3 player. To ensure maximum safety DRIFT EVO II has passed all tests required by the ECE 22.06 standard even with the communicator mounted inside the helmet.
DRIFT EVO II is offered with a fibreglass shell in the colours Matt Black and Gloss White as well as three graphic versions, Jarama, Horizon and Crok in various colour combinations and with both gloss and matt finishes. DRIFT EVO II with Carbon shell is offered in a version without graphics with a glossy finish in addition to two colour versions DRIFT EVO II Carbon Nova Red and DRIFT EVO II Carbon Nova Grey both with a glossy finish.
