The Shoei NXR 2 Sheen TC-2 helmet marks a step forward in the evolution of full-face sport helmets, incorporating Shoei's latest technological advances. Designed to offer superior performance in all areas, this new model combines advanced aerodynamics, optimal visibility, efficient ventilation, impeccable comfort, compactness and lightness. Equipped with the new ECE22/06 certification standard, it is Shoei's lightest and most comfortable helmet to date.
The AIM composite fibre outer shell guarantees excellent protection, while the multi-density EPS inner shell ensures optimal energy dissipation in the event of impact. The Pinlock® CWR-F2 anti-fog visor offers clear vision in all weather conditions, while the double-ring fastening system ensures a secure and customised fit.
The helmet is equipped with the E.Q.R.S. (Emergency Quick Release System) for quick release in an emergency. Ventilation is optimised with multiple air intakes at the front and chin, and rear extractors to ensure constant and comfortable air flow.
In terms of comfort, the helmet is available in four different outer shell sizes, with 3D interior padding and interchangeable cheek pads of various thicknesses. All interior components are removable and washable, while the ear pads and intercom set-up add practicality and versatility.
The aerodynamics have been optimised with an integrated spoiler and a 2D visor for a more racing slant, reducing helmet lift by 6% and air resistance by 4% compared to the previous model. The new visor anchoring system ensures easy and intuitive closure, while the Pinlock fitting ensures clear vision without distortion.
Conceived and tested in the Shoei wind tunnel in Japan, the NXR 2 helmet offers uncompromising safety thanks to its multi-density EPS inner shell, designed to guarantee optimal protection in all situations. Modular padding allows the helmet to be customised for tailor-made comfort, while the Emergency Quick Release system ensures quick and safe removal in the event of an emergency.
