With its abrasion and tear resistance, ventilated and breathable design, and anti-pilling material, the Smart Jacket can be worn over any motorcycle clothing and suitable for any occasion.

The adjustable waist system and D-air® airbag technology used in MotoGP™ ensure the highest level of safety, with no restrictions on road use. The Smart Jacket monitors what is happening around the rider 1,000 times per second and activates the Shield only when it is really needed, protecting the back and vital body parts with the Shield, a patented microfilament airbag that absorbs shock without the need for rigid protection. This means that the Smart Jacket provides the same protection as 7 back protectors, but covers a larger area and is less bulky than a back protector.

The Smart Jacket's control unit is a brain that senses and analyzes everything going on around the rider, thanks to 7 sensors that monitor and process data 1,000 times per second. A complex algorithm activates the airbag in the event of a slip, fall, collision with an obstacle or other vehicle, as well as rear-end collisions. In addition, the airbag system also reacts on impact when the vehicle is stationary, the first motorcycle airbag system with this function.

The Smart Jacket is equipped with a rechargeable battery and the sensor is waterproof. The rear airbag standard complies with the 2016/425 directive procedure, level 1, EN 1621-4 CB L1, while the thorax airbag level complies with the 2016/425 directive procedure, level 2, EN 1621-4 L2. Operation time is up to 26 hours, and protected areas include the back and chest.
