Alpinestars RK-1 Plasma knee pads black red

Designed to adapt to all the demands of off-road riding, the Alpinestars Supertech RK-1 knee brace combines lightness, breathability and protection while offering effective support for the knee. Thanks to its anatomical design, it ensures maximum comfort without compromising on freedom of movement.

The knee protection is made from an advanced Nucleon Plasma material, integrated into a hybrid structure that uses a flexible composite over-injected onto a special blend of high-performance polymers. This combination provides strength and flexibility, with more strategic elastic points in the upper and lower fixation zones.

The brace is designed to offer optimal joint support, reducing the risk of ligament and meniscus injuries, while remaining extremely lightweight. The knee cups, made of three segments, are composed of a polyurethane outer shell and Nucleon Plasma protection, offering an excellent combination of shock absorption, flexibility and scratch resistance. Self-centring cups and extensions on the kneecap provide maximum protection, adapting to different knee movements.

The sophisticated four-point hinge system follows the knee joint with precision, while the extension stops, adjustable from 0 to 30 degrees, allow for customisation of the opening angle. The system's stainless steel bushings are treated to resist corrosion.

The Nucleon Plasma material, made from biological polymers, is viscoelastic and flexible in all directions, while maintaining a high capacity to dissipate impact energy. The lightweight and well-ventilated protector ensures effective impact force distribution, adapting to all riding positions.

The thermoformed soft-touch padding offers excellent comfort, keeping the knee pad firmly in place and ensuring a customised fit thanks to the availability of various thicknesses. Replaceable when needed, the padding is designed for durability.

The four straps reinforced with non-slip material keep the brace securely in place, while the high-strength, flexible and robust buckles facilitate adjustment. The snap-on system allows secure fastening, and the inner buckles are positioned to prevent contact with the bike. The knee protection complies with EN 1621-1:2012 LEVEL 1 for maximum safety.
