Travon's timeless style honors the legacy and historical journey of an undisputed design classic. Bomber jackets were originally designed to keep World War I pilots warm in breezy, outdoor cockpits, but in 1927 they evolved into the classic we know and love: ribbed collar, waistband, and cuffs that add extra wind protection and insulation. This new detailing also shaped the flattering bomber silhouette that is reflected in the new Rev'It! Travon.
To date the lightest jacket we have ever made, the Travon features technology originally designed for touring and adventure riding. In a way, it's a crossover, not that you'd know it from its authentic bomber profile. We didn't want the technical innovation to detract from the aesthetics: air vents on the armpits and front zippers, CE-certified Seesmart protection on the shoulders and elbows, and an insert for a Seesoft RV-type back protector take nothing away from the iconic style of this jacket .
